• Advocatus Diaboli by Tiger of the Fire Harry wasn't who people would believe; he's really a vampire prince. Yet, his life wasn't the same either. What can a young vampire do when he's faced with school, coronations and a dark lord who wants his people? Different, but needs a beta.
• Aeternus Eternus by Angelus The outcome of the final battle will be determined by the blood bonds of those who are involved. Lives will be altered and fates entwined. Everyone appears to be a Vampire in this story!
• All You Had to do Was Ask by tigerblak Both working at the Ministry in different departments. Draco comes up with a plan to seduce Harry. Quite amusing story. Complete
• # Among The Untrodden Ways by gypso_nano Written for The Free Range Vampfic Challenge on hpvamp Draco, realising that the "winning side" is more likely to be Harry's rather than Voldemort's, pledges his fealty to Harry on bended knee. Unexpectedly, Harry turns out to be a vampire, and takes Draco as his donor and pet. D/s (with Harry on top, naturally) that starts out business-like and turns into a caring relationship, even if one or both hate to admit that he's/they're in love. • Anniversary of a Turn by Scully The Dark War against Voldemort is fought and won, bringing changes to the wizarding world, but few are changed as drastically as Harry and Draco. Turned into vampires, they return to Hogwarts to not only finish their education, but to learn how to cope with vampirism and end up learning far more about each other than they ever expected. Well written and interesting.

• Behind the Curtain by Koiame A HarryXDraco that includes Vampires, angst, alot a romance later, and a whole lot more than either of them bargained for... I'm hoping that the author soon runs out of epithets. What's wrong with just calling a person by their name!

With dark magic, vampires, lycanthropes and more, who else could sort it out but Anita Blake? This is an Anita Blake xover, a universe I know nothing about so I'm often at a complete loss as to what the hell is going on, but this is Beren, so I therefore expected good things and was not disappointed. *g* Complete
• Black, Red and Blue by Coralynn or here. Harry comes into his inheritance. How will he handle this with coming across new enemies and new visions? What's up with Dumbledore? Pre-HBP 6th year. Quite interesting start.
• # Bloodlinked by Abremaline and here. Veela (Vampire?) Draco. Probably one of my strangest pieces yet. I have no explanation for this at all. I could blame that on the alcohol, but seriously, I don't think I'd have a summary for this one even if I were sober. Different, Complete

There, Harry begins to become attracted to Malfoy, and tries to use his seduction powers-as well as good-old fashioned flirting-to get him. Long and involved.

Chaos, as both Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy try to escape the clutches of their interfering familiars. But one cannot run from a bond sealed in blood. Quite interesting and original start

• Capture by ravenpan Draco turned into vampire in work accident. Both still married. Interesting story that leaves a great deal unanswered. Complete

• E Changes by henriette. VampireElf!Harry. Harry comes into his Elf heredity but a deadly mistake is made by a stranger he met. And with this new develop and company he changes a lot. Taking its time to develop, but Harry is very OOC and acts like a teen on speed a lot of the time.
• Claimed by digitallace Lucius is molding Harry into the new Dark Lord. What will happen when Draco finds Harry Potter in hi own home being worshipped by his family? Will he fall in love as his destiny indicate, or will he seek to destroy him? Different.
• Claiming by Faithwood A vampire claims his mate. A lovely devious little fic. Complete and the sequel is Transforming
• # Clearly an Idiot by Draco. Two Aurors tracking a murderer are running out of time. The little information they have managed to scrape together has lead them to a shady Goth club, and a former enemy. Written for The Free Range Vampfic Challenge, this is written in first person with the narrator observing and commenting on the interaction between Harry and Draco. It makes for fascinating and 'hot' reading and to the pleasure of many, the initial one off became a superb and highly enjoyable five part story. Complete  
• Close Enough by myniephoenix. Harry comes into an unknown inheritance on his birthday, so does Draco. Harry turns out to be Draco's mate, but doesn't know. Voldie is gone for over a year now, it's the beginning of seventh year, what will happen? Pretty standard fare with a few twists along the way. Complete

However, this change doesn't frighten anyone more than it frightens one Draco Malfoy. Interesting story. Complete
• Concubine by covetous creature. A seventeen year-old Draco harbors the same fantasies as his twelve year-old self, but they have matured somewhat. The Red Room; the perfect outlet for his desires, but there is something strange in all of this ... Strange, decadent, very AU. Not updated since Oct 04, but can be read as a one shot.
• Consort Arc by enchanted jae In an effort to avoid an arranged marriage, Draco Malfoy seeks an alliance with Harry Potter... a Harry Potter who is now a changed man. A collection of linked stories.
• # Corruption by Beren. Voldemort has captured Harry and for his own twisted reasons has chosen not to kill him outright. Revenge in the Dark Lord's mind requires a fate worse than death and Harry is about to find out what that is. Complete. Harry is corrupted with the essence of a number of dark creatures. This is a very good story as are the two sequels and is well worth reading. # Carvedwood has written an authorised companion piece Draco's Story: Corruption and it is both well written and similar in style to Beren's original story.
• Cracking the Gold by Krazy. Post-war. Lord Voledmort has won. The school is now his castle. What happens now? Another story that really needs a beta and a point of view that changes every paragraph!
• Crimson Nectar by devilfancy It is always a lonely life amongst the nightwalker's they had told him. Lonely and forever. As always, he chose his own path just the same. Short, well written and interesting. Complete
• Crossed Wires by eightblanks. What if James' family had a secret? What if the Potter line wasn't as pure as everyone thought? What if James never knew about his vampire heritage because it wasn't a dominant trait for him? What if it was dominant for Harry? Fairly typical start for the genre, but well written. • Danse Macabre by draco crescendo When Harry is assigned to a vampire case and a familiar informant, he realises not everything is what it seems. Sometimes, you have to pay the ultimate price. Intriguing.
• Dark and Light by GoThIcal-Writer Before Hagrid arrived to collect Harry from Godric's Hollow, he was taken and raised by a mysterious figure. 15 years later Harry Evans, a muggleborn, arrives at Hogwarts. Original start and has potential.
• Dark Alliances by Aleta Thuvis What if Voldemort managed to capture Harry, turn Harry into a dark creature, and serve him. Somewhat muddling to read and lacking detail.
• Dark Bonds by Rose Eva. Harry and Draco are connected through a bond that made it's mark many years before. Through this bond all the feelings they have for each other inside develop and grow into a powerful passion. Features Vampire!Draco and MaybeVampire!Harry. Complete. I found this story less than satisfying as far too much was left unanswered.
• Dark Night of the Soul by DraykaEmrys Harry vanishes during his Seventh year, and when he finally returns, it is as the Heir to a Dark Legacy. How will this affect the Wizarding World and Harry's life? Original, quite interesting, but everything happens just a little too easily and far too much is left unexplained. Complete
• Dark side of the Light by Dahlias114 - Draco receives his inheritance on his 17th and learns his Second Half is none other than Harry Potter who in turn receives his inheritance a month later as a (?)  *cough*veela*cough*. • Deathangel by Deatheaterwannab Draco is turned into a vampire by a mysterious stanger in a dark alleyway. His name is Christopher, and Draco cannot seem to decide whether or not to trust him. He seems alright, but he has a sore spot: don't ever touch his necklace if you value your life! For a story that supposed to be H/D, 17 or so chapters later there appears to be a real absence of any Harry! Rather disjointed and bitty. Complete

• Draco's Bloodmate by drarry fan Draco Malfoy is a Vampire and he needs a mate to suck blood out of so he won't kill anyone else. Only his mate can survive and handle his bite without dying, only receiving a small mark on the neck as they were born with enough power and blood. Who is Draco's mate? Fairly typical start.
• Draco Malfoy and the Fanged Casanova by Dragon no Hime Harry gets himself bitten by a vampire and the consquences are... so to say... considerably serious... A fairly simplistic Harry claiming Draco story. Complete.
• # Draco Malfoy and the Secret Underground Vampire Bureacracy by lomonaaeren In which there is an obsessed Potter, conspiracy theories, bonds, hormones, far too much self-help, and, of course, a secret underground vampire bureaucracy. None of which is as important as the fact that this is not Draco Malfoy's fault. Very original and enjoyable read, I loved the bureaucracy and Harry's attitude towards it as he was helping Draco was highly amusing. Complete

• Fate Destiny and Fatigue by Boom Rhapsody. dark!harry! vampires, werewolves, dark creatures abound. Dark lords and hidden secrets that would astound. Birthrights and forthrights and schemes galore. I'm not overwhelming fond of stories that make out Dumbledore, Ron and Hermione to be evil/wrong/malicious and I don't like writers who threaten not to keep on writing unless they get a certain amount of reviews. However, this is well written and has been developed rather well and the Harry of later chapters is far less dark and more determined and therefore more believable and interesting.
• Fearing The Light by SkyeEyesSparkle7135 Something happens to Harry during the summer holidays, and now he is back at Hogwarts for his 6th year. He is going to have a hard time trying to keep a secret like this Harry seems to be acting somewhat out of character.
• Finding Faith by White Rose3. Draco has found out that his powers are coming into play and are going to have a huge effect on him in his 7th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry Potter, during the same summer, was bitten and turned into a vampire, he's learning how to deal with the change, but still has problems controlling his powers which have doubled. Will Harry and Draco find each other's love in time to save one another and the Wizarding world from Voldemort? This is very poorly formatted in the first few chapters and has song verse liberally sprinkled throughout, but does improve as it continues.
• # Flames and Chains by hecticity Harry has defeated Voldemort, but the Dark Lord has a few more tricks up his sleeve even in death. The forest in which the last battle is fought erupts into flames not long after Voldemort's body hits the ground, and Harry runs for his life. But no sooner than he has escaped the fire, he is captured by his old rival, Draco Malfoy... Well written, intriguing with a very original start and a very different, albeit inevitable, ending. Complete
• For Always by melodia04 Draco is a vampire who took Harry as payment for his uncle's debts. Needs a good beta as it has constantly changing tenses which makes it irritating to read. Complete

• Found Wanting by Liz. Challenging everything you thought you knew about vampires. Complete. Angsty and rather good.
• From Darkness into Light by onekinkywitch During the war, Voldemort is finally defeated by Harry Potter. But at a terrible price, Harry gets captured by the remaining death eaters after saving Draco. They torture and brutalise him for information, but he refuses to talk. They use their last resort. Harry is bitten. He turns but not as expected. Cast out and rejected by his closest friends. Only his lover believes in him. How will he cope now that he is caught between worlds. To remain forever caught between the darkness and the light. Just started.
• # Fulcrum by Beren There are some things that are just not supposed to happen, some wrongs which should not occur; these are the things Merlin knows he and Arthur were created to prevent. Then of course there are also some things that would make things better if they happened and folly or stupidity has stopped them from occurring; Merlin likes to put these back on track as well; Arthur calls that part meddling. Rather delicious HP/Merlin crossover. Complete

• Interview with a Vampire by melodia04 Harry is failing English and is given one last chance to save his grades and graduate. Non magic, despite the vampire, and Harry, Ron, Hermione and the school are totally  Americanised. Really needs a beta as there is continually tense change, but on the plus side has an original beginning.
• Intoxicating Power by ash 1212 After finding out that Harry has a relative living in the US, the Dursleys are quick to send him over there with the instruction to never darken their doorstep again. But the secrets that Forks holds may turn out to be deadly to Harry. Cross-over with Twilight. vamp!Draco. Intriguing start, but then again I know nothing about Twillight so I've no idea if it's original or not.
• Irreversibly Fucked by kujamoon Harry has a headache and submits to Hermione's nagging to take a potion for the pain. Now he's not so sure it was a good idea. Amusing set up.
• Just Another Nameless Memory by Ayumiii A society where orphans are adopted by Vampires only to serve as food until the day they are thrown away. Harry shares the fates of these orphans under the Vampire Draco for 3yrs, until he was taken away, but their agreement binds him to return once he turns 16. Original and intriguing start, but the varying between second  and third person pov within paragraphs is a little annoying.
• Just  A Nibble by Keikokin. This is another vampire fic. Draco Malfoy is a vampire. What does he want with Harry and what will the Gryffindor do? Complete, and interesting except for the Ron bashing.
• Kite String by mayushi. You be a kite, and I'll be your kite string. Okay? - Kennedy to Willow, BtVS A really strong and powerful beginning that fades a little by the end, but overall an enjoyable and original story. Complete
• Kiss of Death by BlackHeartFire. Harry rebels,Draco fights for the light and becomes a vampire, Hermione gets pregnant! The world has officially stopped spinning, people! What can you say about a story when the author herself keeps telling you that it's crap? Complete

• # Light in the Shadows or here  by A Brighter Dawn - In another universe, where Harry Potter never existed, things are getting desperate. Voldemort rules all with Lucius at his right hand and Draco as his dark heir. Those who would rebel against him have been placed in the Shadow Camps. A last group of radicals desperately seek the help of one who can defeat the Dark Lord. They use a long forgotten ritual to bring them someone with the power to destroy this evil... Harry Potter never can get a break.  A very interesting and enjoyable read.
• Lost But Found by  L'Arc-En-Ciel. Harry was rescued from the Dursley's and taken to 12 Grimmauld Place, where he comes into his Vampire inheritance. Together with his mate, they will defeat the Dark Lord, only to be separated... Quite interesting, but lacks a plausible set up.
• Lost In The Darkness by dream mancer. Harry wants to help, but he doesn't know how. They don't understand why they claimed to be loved. They don't feel love anymore... but they feel pain. Very different, clever and dark. Complete
• Love Bites by dripping cherry Draco learns Harry's secret, and he's intrigued. Kind of a cute vampire fic, if that's possible. *g* Complete
• Love is just a game by smurff. Harry wakes up one night with a horrible pain, the next day, he's taken to Hogwarts a month early. What happens when Draco shows up complaining of the same thing? Just started and so far treading the same ground as most creature stories.
• Love Like Winter by Aisling. Harry comes into his Inheritance, and as a Vampire, he needs a Mate. Only his Mate is on a different side in the War: will Draco have to choose between his family and Harry's life, or will Lucius make the choice for him? Short story with Harry as Vampire and Draco as Veela. Complete
• Love you to death by devilfancy Its Harry's turn to play big bad bloodsucker. Story with hard, dirty sex and some ambiguity over Draco's consent, but not his lust, if that makes any sense. Complete And the sequels So You're Dead... Now what? and Up the Duff.
• # Lucid Dreaming by Irana Darkling. Draco intends to claim what is his. And no one had better get in his way.  This was written for the 2005 HPVamp Deathday Ficathon and is short, intriguing and Complete, but the author is considering expanding it. I hope she does.
• Lust and Vengeance by Drusilla13. Voldemort has conquered everything, Draco is a Death Eater and comes back to Harry with a plan. They are both vampires, how with this help in the fight for vengeance and what has become of their relationship formed in their later Hogwarts days? • Marashino Mischief by Chrystal Harry and Draco are horny vampires. That about sums it up. Amusing and rather clever take on the two as Vampires. Complete

• Mine to Take Care Of by faithwood. Harry fails to understand that everything Draco gives has already been Harry's to begin with. Well written and enjoyable. Complete

Complete The sequel is Viper Draco is more convinced than ever that Harry's blood and magic are perfect for him, and, as a developing master vampire, he'll have the power soon to enforce his will. But Harry has other problems - namely, a series of mysterious murders and thefts that he suspects vampires are at the bottom of. If there are any vampires capable of resisting their instincts, that is. And if there are, then the wizarding population of Britain's in more trouble than they can imagine. An exciting read. Complete The Long Desired by Lomonaaeren is the sequel to Viper. Harry is more determined than ever to prevent Draco from taking Harry as his lover and Long-Desired, which Harry sees as slavery. Draco turns to Harry's friends for help as Harry spirals down into self-destruction. The last of the trilogy of connected stories starts of as thrilling as the previous ones. Complete. • Of Wanting and Waiting by Beren Harry tried to leave the wizarding world by becoming a vampire; it didn't work and his life is about to become even more complicated by the addition of Draco Malfoy. Enjoyable one off. Complete
• Of Wizards and Vampires by Shattered Diamond. AU. Harry is taken by a vampire and trained before he arrives at Hogwarts. He never met the Dursley's, but Dumbledore thinks he's still there. • W Scars by vannagirl Harry is of the age to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The promise of new power is to much to ignore. But when the Boy-Who-Lived is finally seen again, will he be able to keep his scars hidden? A Slytherin Harry with Draco as his friend, so very much not the Harry we know. I don't know what to make of this very AU story as it doesn't seem to be in any hurry to go anywhere much, plus it really, really needs a beta as there are so many spelling and word use errors. How will he deal? I don't quite understand why someone decides to write H/D, but then completely changes Harry's parentage and looks!

• Tears of Blood by Branwen777 The entire wizarding world believes that Harry Potter died sixteen years ago, while his parents survived. James and Lily go on with their lives never really forgiving themselves, or forgetting the son that they lost. But now with the Triwizard Tournament starting memories and questions begin to arise about what exactly happened on that fateful Halloween night. Who is this Adrian Sylvain, and why does he look so much like the Potters? Why do they feel a sudden connection to him, and an overpowering need to protect him and save him from the unhappiness of his life? What exactly is his connection to Harry Potter? This is a well written and thought through story, but Harry/Adrian is so different, for very obvious and well detailed reasons, in personality to the Harry of the books that I find it difficult to have any empathy for him or interest in his and Draco's relationship.
• The Betrayal of Blood and Brotherhood by MalfoyIsMine William the bloody turns the Youngest Malfoy into a vampire. Said vampire decides he has to see the one person who can help him. When he and his One Person meets up with his sire and his sires new girlfriend (NOT buffy/drusilla/harmony/darla) He has to hatch a plan and quick to save him and his precious people. And snape decides he wants Spikes sire for his own, all hells gonna break loose. Crossover with BTVS. Desperately needs a beta.

• The Knight Bus by Natasha On a trip on the Knight Bus, the boys are in for some unsual dreams... Interesting one shot. Complete
• The Last Valkier by Spiffy Squigglemink-mantra III Harry has a happy life with his fiancee, until an ancient blonde Valkier decides he needs to carry on his bloodline. Different beginning, but very AU and totally OCC and the Harry depicted might just as well be a woman. Complete

Now, in Harry's third year, he must leave everything he has known and go to Hogwarts. Harry's isn't the same kind, caring heroic individual of the books, but an aloof loner. For a 16 year old, Harry seems remarkably sanguine about everything that occurs, and far too controlled and impassive to be a Harry that I can care about
• Vampire's Doll by Bunny bubble He was a porcelain doll, milky skin, silky blonde locks, mesmerizing silver eyes a Veela bound by dark magic. The other was a ray of dark light, shadow hair with taunting emerald eyes, beckoning to come closer a Vampire that chased after him. Quite interesting start although it looks to be treading old ground and is spoilt by wavering tenses and unnecessary author asides.
• Vampire Heart by PaddycakePadfoot 'You can't escape the wrath of my heart.' The meeting of two demons and the fall of the Dominion of all vampires, the Vampire Heart. While intriguing, the meaning of the story is lost in the convoluted poetic style and the occasional word misuse just adds to the confusion. Complete

Constantly changing POV and mixed up dialogue (although it improves greatly by the end) makes this story irritating to read, plus Harry as a Goth with a pierced naval stretches my incredulity to the limit. Complete.  Am I worth it? is the sequel. Harry and Draco have finally gotten together but Harry's still prone to deep and destructive bouts of depression. Can Draco heal him in time for the final face off of him and Voldemort or will Harry lose it. Complete

Vampires, Werewolves, Evil Dumbledore oh my!  This is very AU and quite fascinating. There is rather a lot of purple prose and everyone is beautiful and pretty!, but the story flows and keeps evolving. My main problem is that Dumbledore is the bad guy, and Hermione and Ron are not so far behind him, although they do all have their 'valid' reasons. Also, in order to update fairly often, the author does tend to post without a beta which is a bit of a pity, but all in all this is different and a bit of a guilty pleasure. *g* Complete
