This is the hub page for listings (not recommendation
lists) of any Harry and / or Draco as Veela or other magical creature story
with comments and recommendations when applicable. I will indicate when a
story is Complete or appears to have been
abandoned. # in
front of the story signifies that I consider it a
very good read.
Separate listings with the stories in alphabetical order have
been made for Vampire,
Veela,
Werewolf, Elf / Fairy,
Kitty!Harry / Draco and
Other Magical Creatures that don't
fit into the above categories. Some stories may well be listed in two categories
either because both men are different creatures or because they have mixed
heritages. Further separate listings have been made for
Completed stories and for those I

by Lomonaaeren Lucius went mad after the war, and he has killed
Narcissa and confined Draco to Malfoy Manor while he does magical
experiments on him. Draco escapes at times by astral travel. During one of
his journeys, he is astonished to find Harry Potter, who vanished after the
war, living in the Forest of Dean. The usual competent prose and
original storyline from this prolific and excellent writer

doesn't realize it. Unbeknownst to Harry, the first person who kisses him
automatically becomes his mate. Interesting and different.

- Ve Veiled Threats by
cyane snape No one had any idea what had
really happened that eventful year, but then there was that one day they all
remembered... that one time, at the final battle at Hogwarts when everything
changed and Harry and Draco disappeared. According to the authorities, the savior had been kidnapped and the Minister had no other choice than to issue
a warrant for the immediate arrest of Draco Malfoy on charges of treason.
While having some interesting elements, this story uses rather too many
of the genre clichés and is somewhat predictable because of it.

disaster by leo draconis On the first day of his final
year at Hogwarts, Draco discovers he's a Veela and that he has a limited
time to find and bed his mate. Naturally, he's quite angry when he discovers
his mate is none other than Harry Potter. Can he deny his attraction - and
what's more, can he deny that Harry is in very real danger from his own
private demons? A fairly typical start, but already has some original
elements creeping in.

Lomonaaeren is the promised sequel to
Mongoose Draco
is more convinced than ever that Harry's blood and magic are perfect for
him, and, as a developing master vampire, he'll have the power soon to
enforce his will. But Harry has other problems - namely, a series of
mysterious murders and thefts that he suspects vampires are at the bottom
of. If there are any vampires capable of resisting their instincts, that is.
And if there are, then the wizarding population of Britain's in more trouble
than they can imagine. An exciting read.

across his lips and with a breathy sigh he rode the winds towards the
unknown. Well written, short and painful. Complete

by Makayla's auntie In the summer after the DoM, Draco's Veela
side comes out and he Rescues Harry, his mate, from the Dursleys. How will
he cope in a world where the good guys are bad and the bad guys are good?
Evil! Dumbledore, Ron and Hermione type scenario.

problem with minding his own business, and Draco has a secret.
Intriguing beginning.

Waiting by Beren Harry tried to leave the wizarding
world by becoming a vampire; it didn't work and his life is about to become
even more complicated by the addition of Draco Malfoy. Enjoyable one
off. Complete

Fear Will Always Hold You Back by Mione5 Challenge fic. A
rather different type of creature story premised around the idea that Harry
is terrified of water. While this is set up and explained quite well, the
quick development of Harry and Draco's intense relationship is unbelievably
OOC (and incredibly soppy) while the demonising of Ron seems totally
unnecessary. Complete

Life
Renovations by Windseeker2305 Sometimes people are
forced to make many changes in thier lives in order to survive. After a
summer of torture with the Dursleys, Harry goes into a magical coma, where he
decides many things that could very well change the Discarding World
forever. Very long involved story that I found difficult to engage with.
The characterisations were very OOC , Harry and Draco's enmity was far too
easily resolved, and I particularly disliked Ron's disavowal of Harry and
his friendship. Complete. The sequel is
